Location: St. Louis - Hampton Avenue

Reporting To: Scott Bayliff

Compensation: $36.29 - $39.29 / hour

Description

Help individuals build on their strengths, pursue recovery, and create meaningful lives in their communities. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours weekly.

The Therapist provides compassionate, person-centered clinical services to individuals receiving care through ADAPT. This role provides individual, group, and family therapy; clinical assessments; crisis intervention; and collaborative treatment planning. Working closely with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members, the Therapist helps identify strengths, reduce barriers, develop wellness and recovery goals, and build skills that support independence and community living. Services are primarily provided in the ADAPT offices, with opportunities to support other programs and departments as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who values a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach and enjoys partnering with individuals and their support systems to identify meaningful goals and build on existing abilities. You’ll have the opportunity to provide holistic clinical care, facilitate therapeutic groups, support families, and collaborate across disciplines to help the people we serve move toward greater independence, wellness, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using a holistic, person-centered approach.

  • Conduct clinical interviews, assessments, and ongoing monitoring to understand needs, strengths, risks, and progress.

  • Collaborate with individuals, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and support individualized recovery and wellness goals.

  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical support in accordance with organizational protocols and current certifications.

  • Facilitate skill-building and therapeutic interventions that promote independence, self-care, recovery, and successful community living.

  • Develop and facilitate engaging group therapy curriculum based on the needs and goals of individuals served.

  • Help individuals and families identify resources, strengthen support systems, and navigate barriers to rehabilitation and wellness.

  • Provide education and support related to medications, treatment recommendations, and wellness strategies as appropriate.

  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and insurance requirements.

  • Participate in staff training, coaching, and in-service education across agency programs and departments.

  • Communicate effectively with treatment team members and demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making.

  • Provide services in a culturally responsive, respectful, and compassionate manner.

  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and Corporate Compliance requirements.

  • Enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team while also exercising independent clinical judgment.

  • Are comfortable supporting individuals and families through both everyday challenges and times of crisis.
