La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Southern New Mexico. The role performs assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups with substance abuse issues, as part of the ACT Team.

The position requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or behavioral health and an active New Mexico license.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health field.
• Current New Mexico license in counseling, social work, psychology, LSAA, or LADAC.
• Preference for integrated treatment experience with co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management and therapeutic services for individuals, families and groups with substance abuse issues.
• Provide community consultation, education, staff orientation and training; assist in team supervision.
• Participate in planning, development and implementation of services as part of the ACT Team.

Job Summary

Performs assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups with substance abuse issues; provides community consultation and education and staff orientation and training; assists in team supervision and participates in the planning, development, and implementation of services as part of the ACT Team.

• Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short-term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
• Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.

Job Requirements

• Will have at least a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health related field.
• Current New Mexico license in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, Licensed Substance Abuse Associate Counselor (LSAA), or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC).
• Preference will be given to individuals with training or experience in integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders
• Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
