Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center in Wexford, PA seeks a compassionate Therapist to support patients at our outpatient office, providing individual, group, and family therapy and contributing to recovery journeys.

This role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, an evening shift from 11am to 9:00pm, licensure supervision, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and human services field.
• At least 1 year of health and human services experience.
• Experience in outpatient/inpatient settings with dual diagnosis and SUD patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Develop and revise treatment plans with the treatment team.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Monitor insurance authorizations for patient caseload.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources for continuing care.
• Support continuing care planning and referrals.

Your Role in Transforming Recovery

• Utilizes and promotes trauma-informed treatment through the provision of evidence-based practices.


• Participates in developing the patient’s treatment plan and outcomes in cooperation with the treatment team.


• Provides direct therapeutic services consisting of individual, group, and/or family therapy dependent on the patient's needs.


• Makes ongoing assessments regarding the patient’s progress in treatment and revises the treatment plan according to patient needs.


• Completes clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


• Establishes and maintains contact and relationships with referral sources related to patient caseload.


• Plans for continuing care of patient and making appropriate referrals.


• Monitors and completes insurance authorizations for patient caseload.


• Provides referrals for additional care or services when required


• Participates in regular supervision with the manager and seeks out additional supervision as needed.


• Completes mandatory orientation and annual training programs; completes applicable attendance documentation.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year experience in a health and human services field.


• Experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting with dual diagnosis and SUD patients.


• Proficiency in outpatient platforms and digital communication tools.

Other Requirements

• Pass a PA Criminal Background Check


• Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances


• Pass Drug Screen


• 2-Step TB Test


• Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
