JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current Opportunity to Join our Team CW Solutions, in
partnership with Wood County Human Services Department, has created a
new position embedded in the Youth Justice team to provide therapeutic
services to youth involved in the justice system. This is an ideal
position for a clinician-in-training completing their post-graduate
supervised hours who has a passion for youth intersecting with youth
justice. This position will provide psychoeducation and psychotherapy
services to youth in a variety of settings, utilizing grant funding and
providing services through the Wood County Behavioral Health Integrated
Outpatient Clinic and the Wood County Comprehensive Community Services
program. Using this model, the Youth Justice Therapist has a unique
ability to combine office-based services with community-based services
and a combination of psychotherapy and psychoeducation to meet the
unique needs of each youth and family they work with. CW Solutions and
Wood County Human Services Department have worked together in shared
operations programming for 10 years and have a shared mission of

shared goal. General Function The Youth Justice Therapist is a critical
role dedicated to reducing the risk factors and increasing the
protective factors for youth involved in the justice system. By
providing specialized, evidence-based, and therapeutic interventions,
this position aims to decrease the likelihood of out-of-home placement
and recidivism and promote positive behavioral change. The candidate
must be either 1) a clinician-in-training who will be able to provide
immediate, therapeutic specialized services directly to youth; or 2) a
fully licensed clinician (if fully licensed, the pay grade increases to
K). Essential Duties And Responsibilities The Following Duties Are
typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or
all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. 1. Deliver
therapeutic and psychoeducation services including supervised
psychotherapy, to youth aged 10 through 17 on dispositional orders
served through the Wood County Human Service Department Youth Justice
team. 2. Engage in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to
address mental health, substance use, and criminogenic needs experienced
by youth. 3. Provide flexible services using a combination of
psychotherapy and psychoeducation techniques in various settings
including in-home, out-of-home, and community-based settings to
accommodate the unique needs of the youth and family. 4. Utilize
evidence-based interventions to enhance youth\'s skills in areas such as
problem-solving, decision-making and perspective taking. 5. Develop and
facilitate skill-building groups utilizing Decision Points
evidence-based curriculum for youth. 6. Foster trusting relationships
through effective and meaningful contact with youth and family. 7.
Identify and leverage the natural strengths, abilities, and competencies
of the youth and their family. 8. Document service notes timely and
maintain youth files in accordance with agency standards. Complete all
required documentation for enrollment in certified Integrated Behavioral
Health Outpatient Program. 9. Maintain and promote effective
collaborative relationships with all community partners. Ability to work
independently and as a team. 10. Complete all assigned trainings. 11.
Responsible to know and practice the safety policies of the county and
CW Solutions. Perform all job tasks in a safe and prescribed manner. 12.
Attend staff meet ngs, appropriate training and education, and clinical
supervision. 13. Represent the Department and CW Solutions in the
community at meetings and other events. 14. Any other duties as may be
assigned. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience:
Required - At least two years\' experience working with children and
families in an area related to child abuse, neglect, and/or delinquency
is preferred. Intent to work toward supervised clinical experience is
Required. Essential Skills 1. Clinical Knowledge Of Therapeutic Services
and assessments. 2. Ability to critically think by constructively
utilizing training and the education provided as well as supervisory
consultation. 3. Ability to establish rapport with youth and their
families, service providers, and community partners. 4. A strong sense
of and respect for confidentiality involving both participants and
fellow employees. 5. Possess cultural humility and ability to build
trusting relationships with vulnerable and diverse populations. 6.
Adaptability to changing environments and situations. 7. Effectively
respond to behavior crisis situations that builds safety for youth. 8.
Ability to motivate and empower youth and families to achieve their
personal goals. 9. Ability to work independently with strong sense of
focus, task-oriented, nonjudgmental, person-focused and have clear sense
of boundaries and ethical guidelines. 10. Excellent conflict resolution
and/or mediation skills. 11. Excellent written and verbal communication
