Job summary

Georgia HOPE is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to deliver clinical services that empower individuals and families to navigate challenges and build resilience. The role may be clinic-based, community-based, or hybrid, with a focus on evidence-based therapy and collaborative care.

Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, and have at least two years of relevant experience, with eligibility for GA licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, including internships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning.

As a Therapist at Georgia HOPE, you'll provide clinical services that empower individuals and families to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve lasting emotional and behavioral health outcomes.

What You'll Do

As a Therapist, you'll deliver comprehensive, clinically sound mental health services across a diverse population. Your work will be assessment‑driven, treatment‑focused, and centered on measurable progress. Day to day, you can expect to:

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, goal‑oriented treatment plans
• Deliver evidence‑based therapy services through individual, group, and family sessions to address a range of mental health needs
• Maintain consistent engagement with clients, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment approaches as clinically indicated
• Provide crisis intervention, including risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination with emergency supports when needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and connect clients to community resources to ensure holistic, coordinated care
• Complete accurate, timely documentation and maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards

What To Expect

This role may be clinic‑based, community‑based, or a hybrid of both, depending on program needs. You'll manage a clinical caseload with a mix of scheduled sessions and responsive client care, including occasional crisis support. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgement, organization, and the ability to build trust with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. You'll work as part of a collaborative team while maintaining autonomy in your clinical approach, with ongoing support through supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships.
• Must be eligible for professional licensure in the state of Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
