Job summary

Muir Wood Teen Treatment in Riverside County, CA, is seeking licensed clinicians for a full-time role providing individual, family, and group therapy to teens ages 12–17. You will work in a residential program alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians in a high-collaboration setting.

The position requires CA licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD/PsyD) or Associate registration and 2+ years in residential or high-acuity settings. Weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or MFT.
• Active CA license OR Associate Registration Number: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD, AMFT, APCC, ACSW.
• 2+ years in residential treatment, inpatient behavioral health, or high-acuity settings.
• Experience with adolescents in mental health or substance use treatment.
• Strong background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual, family, and group therapy using DBT, CBT, ACT, and trauma-focused modalities.
• Spend time in the milieu building rapport, modeling interventions, and shaping treatment in real time.
• Conduct biopsychosocial and risk assessments to guide treatment planning.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate in daily and weekly multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide crisis support as needed.
• Note: This is a full-time, in-person role that includes one weekend day in your regular schedule.

$75,000–$115,000 (based on experience) + $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for Licensed Therapists | Licensed (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD/PsyD) OR Associate (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) | Riverside County, CA | Full-Time

This position is full-time, Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday- Saturday

About the Role:

Provide individual, family, and group therapy for teens ages 12–17 in our Joint Commission-accredited residential treatment program in Riverside County. You'll be embedded in the milieu alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow clinicians—not isolated in an office. This is meaningful clinical work with adolescents facing mental health and substance use challenges. You will have the opportunity to work in both boys and girls programs based on organizational and client needs, supporting individual and group therapy.
