Coastal Oaks is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide clinical services for clients in substance use and co-occurring disorders. The role includes assessments, treatment planning, individual/group/family therapy, and care coordination with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and successful discharge planning.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, active SC licensure (LPC/LISW-CP/LMFT, or eligible for supervision), and CPR/First Aid certification.
The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services to clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. This position serves as the client's primary clinician and is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and maintaining treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary treatment team. The Primary Therapist supports clients throughout the treatment process while promoting recovery, wellness, and successful discharge planning.
