Job summary

A leading substance abuse and mental health organization in Philadelphia is seeking a Primary Therapist to conduct patient assessments and facilitate group sessions. Therapist Duties/Responsibilities

• New patient intake and orientation
• Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
• Conducts individual sessions
• Facilitates groups with patients
• Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA
• Provides Case Management
• Documentation in patient medical record

Therapist Requirements

• Associate’s degree or above in Human Services or related field
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a detox and/or residential setting
• Experience conducting group sessions
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes

Therapist Schedule

• Full Time
• 8:00am-5:30pm
• Must be open to one weekend shift per week

Therapist Compensation

• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
