Job summary

Yoso Recruiting is seeking a compassionate Therapist to join an inpatient substance abuse treatment team in Virginia. The ideal candidate holds active Virginia LPC, LCSW, LMHP, or is a resident in counseling, or a supervisee in social work, and is passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapy in a primary inpatient program, conduct psychosocial assessments, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Active Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMHP. Resident in counseling or supervisee in social work also encouraged to apply.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Experience in an inpatient behavioral health or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in a primary substance abuse inpatient program.
• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with standards.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic groups focused on addiction recovery and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and participate in treatment team meetings.
