JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Centerstone is seeking therapist with experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team. No weekend or on call work required. The Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality behavioral health services to clients at both the Shelbyville and Lewisburg clinics. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based individual and group therapy, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support positive client outcomes. The therapist will split time between both clinic locations to ensure continuity of care, timely access to services, and consistent clinical support for clients across the service area. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate, person-centered care. This role requires collaboration with medical providers, case managers, and other clinical staff while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards.
Education Requirements A Master’s degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or a specialization in MH Counseling License-eligible in respective discipline preferred. OR Applicants with a Master’s degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria: Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework. Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas: Clinical treatment and treatment planning Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders Psychopathology Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting Experience Requirements Clinical experience is required. This may be fulfilled through clinical practicums or internships completed as part of a master’s degree program.

Starting Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
