Job summary

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals of Indianapolis is adding therapists to our growing clinical services team to provide outstanding care to our patients and their families in their recovery journey. Therapists are Master’s prepared clinicians with a focus on trauma-informed care, compassion, and patient safety, delivering daily individual and group counseling under the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required.
  • Counselor license required if Master’s in Counseling (associate or full license).
  • MSW: associate or temporary license in state of employment preferred or required; full license preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute inpatient behavioral health hospital is a plus.
  • Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
  • Individual and group counseling techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead treatment planning, care conferences with families and providers, and updates on care and psychosocial needs.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and complex discharge processes.
  • Ensure an exceptional experience of care for patients and families.

The therapist will provide daily individual and group counseling along with best-in-class treatment planning and care coordination under the guidance of the Director ofClinical Services. Therapists are Master's prepared clinicians with a focus on trauma informed care, compassion, and patient safety

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for overall treatment planning efforts, care conferences with families and providers, family and provider care updates, psychosocial needs and completion.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population which includes accountability for the complex discharge process.
  • Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required
  • Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Counseling: Associate license OR full counseling license required.
