Job summary

The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students is seeking a Special Education Para Professional in Westminster. You will support students with IEP goals, assist teachers, and help maintain a safe, structured classroom environment throughout the school day.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; training in CPI/CPR will be provided. Some roles require a Fingerprint Clearance Card to work with children in the state of Arizona.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required to work with children in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to special education students.
• Implement IEP-based interventions and assist with coping strategies.
• Ensure student safety and supervision throughout the school day.
• Assist with personal hygiene needs in a respectful manner.
• Participate in classroom routines and crisis intervention training as needed.
