Job summary

Circle Academy in Illinois seeks a Principal to provide a structured, therapeutic learning environment for K-12 students. You will oversee programmatic approaches, curriculum, interventions and stakeholder relations, guiding a leadership team and staff under the Director of Education.

You will supervise the leadership team, ensure compliance with IEPs and BIPs, and lead crisis response and school improvement initiatives while collaborating with families and districts.

Qualifications

• Illinois teaching license required.
• ISBE Type 75 Administrative License or endorsement required.
• Minimum 5 years working with children/adolescents with emotional/behavioral/learning challenges.
• 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• familiarity with IEPs, BIPs, accommodations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Circle Academy, overseeing academic, behavioral and therapeutic programming.
• Supervise, support, and develop school staff.
• Ensure programming meets students' IEPs and state/federal requirements.
• Oversee curriculum, instruction, interventions and behavioral support.
• Monitor student progress across academics, behavior and attendance.
