Job summary

AWARE in Butte, MT is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician to join our compassionate team. The role is full-time, starting at $19.00 to $23.59 per hour, offering opportunities for growth and professional development within our inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities include leading activities, planning interventions, and documenting outcomes in the EHR to support program effectiveness while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• Valid Montana Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Background check required (criminal and protective services).

Responsibilities

• Work independently in assigned location/region.
• Travel to client/service area by vehicle.
• Lead and instruct participants in gaining life skills.
• Plan and lead recreational activities.
• Implement interventions sensitive to client age, culture, development, and abilities.
• Model activities to promote positive lifestyle skills.
• Assist TRPD in creating intervention protocols with goals.
• Observe client response and communicate with TRPD and treatment team.
• Document outcomes in EHR per policy for program evaluation.
