Job summary

AWARE is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician in Great Falls, MT to join our compassionate team. This full-time role starts at $19.00–$23.59 per hour and supports adults, children, and families in our community through engaging recreation and life-skills programs.

You will work independently in your assigned region, lead activities, document outcomes in our EHR, and collaborate with the treatment team to design meaningful interventions that foster personal growth and healthy

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Montana driver's license with clean driving record.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Work independently in assigned location/region.
Travel to client sites using own or company vehicle.
Lead and instruct participants to gain life skills.
Plan and lead recreational activities.
Implement interventions respecting client age, culture, and abilities.
Model and engage in activities with clients to promote healthy lifestyle skills.
Assist in creating protocols with short-term goals and criteria for assignment.
Observe client responses and report to TRPD and treatment team.
Document outcomes in the EHR per policy.
Provide client information for transition/ discharge planning.
