Qualifications

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or Recreational Therapy is required.
• Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or Recreation Therapist is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy programs under RT scope, evaluate and review treatment plans.
• Document procedures and treatments per hospital policies.
• Assess patients' functioning and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute to unit-based Quality Improvement and patient advocacy.
