Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator, Memory Care - Full Time

Join us at Benchmark Senior Living as a Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator, Memory Care - Full Time.

Location: Coachman Square at Woodbridge, Woodbridge, CT

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 9am-5pm

Pay Range: $22.00/hr

As part of our Memory Care team, you will organize and implement programs tailored to meet the individual needs of residents, promoting psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being in a caring environment. The role involves supporting all programming activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or formal education in recreation and programming, with knowledge of aging and dementia.
• Qualified by experience and training to develop programs for elders and persons with dementia.
• Therapeutic Recreation certificate preferred.
• High-level skills in planning activities and programs.
• Experience in Assisted Living settings preferred.
