Responsibilities

• Complete activity assessment through patient observation and interviews to plan treatment.
• Plan, organize, direct and implement activities within the treatment program to facilitate progress.
• Instruct patients in activities such as sports, dance, music or relaxation techniques.
• Develop treatment plans and activity interventions that meet patient needs and goals.
• Direct and supervise activity staff in implementation of the program, if applicable.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreational Therapy or related field
