Job description

Overview

Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) Program is seeking full-time Therapeutic Mentors (35-40 hours per week) in the Fall River, MA area. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with flexible hours between 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The starting rate is $19-$21 per hour. A $1000 sign-on bonus is available.

Salaries are determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, references, and language proficiency with clients.

Responsibilities

TM mentors provide 1:1 structured strength-based supportive services that address daily living, social and communication needs. Services include supporting, coaching and training youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, functional skill-building, problem solving and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-age youth.
• A Bachelor\'s or Associate\'s degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-age youth.
• Applicants must have a good driving record, have access to a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Spanish and Portuguese speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.
