Job summary

Lorenzi Health LLC is hiring a Therapeutic Mentor to provide one-to-one support for youth, aiming to improve daily living, social, behavioral, and communication skills. The role emphasizes interventions tailored to each youth's goals, with activities conducted at home or in community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HISET plus two years of youth experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in human services with one year of youth experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience collaborating with multiple team members to achieve goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Cultural humility to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of community resources and child/family-serving systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide structured, one-to-one support to assigned youth to achieve goals in daily living, social, behavioral, and communication areas.
• Determine interventions and activities most effective to achieve treatment goals.
• Interventions may occur in the youth's home or in a community setting.

What would I be doing as a Therapeutic Mentor?

You would provide structured, one-to-one support to assigned youth in order to achieve goals specific to daily living, social, behavioral, and communication needs. As a Therapeutic Mentor, you would determine the interventions & activities that will be most effective in achieving the treatment goals. Interventions may take place in the youth’s home or in a community setting.

What do I need to bring to the position?

• High School Diploma/HISET and two (2) two years of experience working with youth in any capacity OR
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's in the human services field from an accredited school and one (1) year of experience working with youth in any capacity
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Experience collaborating with multiple team members to achieve a common goal
• Excellent written and verbal skills that foster clear, respectful, and empathetic communication
• Cultural humility that allows you to work effectively with individuals of various backgrounds
• Knowledge of community resources and child/family-serving systems (preferred, but not required)
