Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in human services or related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and skill-building support.
  • Help clients develop coping, problem-solving, emotional regulation, communication, and social skills.
  • Support goals established through individual treatment or service plans.
  • Develop engaging activities, lessons, and structured programming.
  • Transport clients to and from scheduled services and activities as required.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with clients and families.
  • Communicate appropriately with parents, guardians, case workers, supervisors, schools, and treatment-team members.
  • Complete required progress notes, reports, and service documentation accurately and on time.
  • Participate in required supervision, staff meetings, and training.
  • Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.

Therapeutic Mentor

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and reliability.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and maintain required certifications.
