Job summary

KidsPeace is hiring a Therapeutic Foster Care Caseworker in the United States. The role involves case management for youth in foster care, coordinating counseling, medical and dental exams, tracking services, and maintaining thorough documentation to ensure confidentiality and proper releases.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Child and Family Services.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective case management for youth in foster care, scheduling counseling, exams, and documenting activities.
• Conduct weekly casework visits, focusing on treatment goals and safety in foster home settings.
• Assess family strengths and needs, identify issues, and connect to appropriate services.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.
• Facilitate engagement among youth, families, and foster families, including meetings and conferences.
• Support permanency planning and reunification efforts; collaborate with agencies and service providers.
