Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking an Endoscopy Technician (Therapeutic) to support endoscopy procedures and ensure the smooth operation of advanced endoscopic equipment. The role emphasizes assisting in both standard and advanced therapeutic procedures and preparing specimens as needed.

Two years of experience in an endoscopy setting and CPR certification are required, with SGNA Associates Program preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Two (2) years experience in an Endoscopy setting.
• CPR certification is required.
• Completion of SGNA Associates Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Endoscopist with procedures including advanced therapeutic procedures.
• Oversees set up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced endoscopic equipment.
• Aids in the collection and preparation of specimens.
• The Endoscopy Technician (Therapeutic) functions as a technical expert assisting in the performance of both standard and advanced endoscopic procedures.
