Job summary

New Hope Treatment Centers in South Carolina is seeking a Non-Certified Teacher to support individualized instruction and maintain a therapeutic, safe learning environment for residents with diverse behavioral, emotional, and academic needs.

You will collaborate with certified teachers and clinicians, assist in developing learning plans, collect data, and help deliver engaging, differentiated lessons while documenting progress in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; background checks and state clearances may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1+ year experience in behavioral health or education.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse youth in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and therapeutic support to residents.
• Assist in development/implementation of individualized learning plans.
• Gather and interpret academic/behavioral data to support progress.
• Maintain a structured, safe educational environment and assist with lesson delivery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment and education team meetings.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
