Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking individuals to provide high quality meals to residents, guests, and staff with a HEART-driven approach. You will prepare meals using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes, help on the food line, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Clear and effective English communication required.
• Willing to obtain necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; Excel and Word proficiency required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality meals to residents, guests and staff using daily planner and standard recipes.
• Work the food line during mealtimes.
• Ensure food safety and kitchen sanitation guidelines are met.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest needs and requests.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and coworkers.
