Royal Oaks in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare meals per planned menus and standardized recipes, ensuring palatability and proper food temperatures. You will work with the Head Cook and Director of Food Services to support quality dining in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing menus, preparing meals for therapeutic diets, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with other departments to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a high school education.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) SafeServ sanitation certification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Review care plans to assure dietary information matches meals served.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in all kitchen/food service areas.
• Coordinate dietary service with other departments as necessary.
