Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Georgia is seeking a Therapeutic Child Care Provider for a gender-specific residential program serving mothers and their children.

You will supervise infants to school-age children, facilitate developmentally appropriate activities, and support parenting education while maintaining records and participating in team meetings. A high school diploma is required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Gender specific program requires female staff.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with addictive diseases, mental health, and/or early childhood education.
• Criminal background check clearance, official transcripts, valid driver’s license/ID, drug screen, TB test, and an eligible 7-year Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic supervision of infants, toddlers, and children in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Organizes and leads activities to promote physical, mental, and social development.
• Adapts teaching methods to meet children's needs and interests.
• Facilitates parenting education groups for parents.
