Job summary

Sacramento Children's Home in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Therapeutic Behavioral Services Specialist to assess and develop behavioral intervention plans and deliver one-on-one intensive services to youth, with crisis safety planning and caregiver education.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with the primary mental health provider, complete required EPSDT paperwork using Avatar, and participate in team meetings, while supporting diverse families with strong communication and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of full time/equivalent direct care experience in the mental health field.
• Experience providing applied behavioral interventions to youth and documentation in EPSDT preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; knowledge of applied behavioral analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop behavioral intervention plans for youth using applied behavioral methods.
• Provide one-on-one intensive services, crisis safety planning, and caregiver education.
• Write daily/weekly progress notes and complete EPSDT paperwork with Avatar.
• Collaborate with the youth's primary mental health provider and coordinate with caregivers.
