We are seeking an entry-level for a blended role of Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician to join our team to support our therapeutic staff. The Therapy Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician will join a team of therapeutic professionals including licensed social workers, occupational, physical, speech and ABA therapists.

Mentorship and opportunities to observe therapy sessions, as well as assistance with graduate school application process will be provided for our therapeutic assistant paraprofessionals. Over 80% of our Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional staff have been accepted into graduate healthcare programs!

Therapy Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician Education Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree preferred
2. BACB RBT 40 hour Credential
3. Experience working with children is a plus
4. Full time Availability (40 hours/week; Monday-Friday)

Blue Bird Day is an intensive therapy program for children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders. Our therapies are offered in a preschool-like setting, but instead of teachers, our "classes" are run by therapists. Our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals. We have locations in Chicago's West Loop and Northcenter neighborhoods and in Wheaton, and we're growing!
