LifeStream Blood Bank is seeking a part-time, on-site Nurse for the SAN BERNARDINO campus. You will perform therapeutic procedures including phlebotomy, monitor patients, and coordinate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires a California RN license, CPR/ACLS, and a background in blood banking or apheresis; experience with venous access devices is preferred. Expect a flexible shift and mobile responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Professional Nursing.
• Current California license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current California Driver’s License.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum three months to one year nursing/clinical experience; 2–3 years apheresis preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains and promotes the Blood Bank’s values and organizational goals.
• Provides excellent customer service and resolves issues within scope of authority.
• Maintains patient, staff and organizational confidentiality.
• Reviews and processes therapeutic orders.
• Sets up, transports and restocks equipment for therapeutic apheresis in clinical settings.
• Performs apheresis procedures and phlebotomy under physician oversight.
