William & Mary’s Department of Physics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in theoretical astroparticle physics and cosmology, beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will develop an externally funded research program and contribute to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Duties include research, teaching, and service; one course per semester; mentoring students; building collaborations at the university's strong research centers.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field required by August 10, 2027.
• Postdoctoral research experience preferred.
• Strong record in theoretical or computational astroparticle physics or cosmology.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and participate in program growth.
• Develop an externally funded research program and mentor students.
• Contribute to service and collegiality within the department.
