Job summary

Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, CO seeks a Theology teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers a place on the Faculty Salary Scale with a starting salary of $55,000 and full benefits. Must be a practicing Catholic and hold a Bachelor's degree in Theology (Masters preferred).

Job description

Regis Jesuit is seeking a Theology teacher to begin the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be placed on the Faculty Salary Scale, based on education level and years of experience (minimum starting salary for BA, Tier 1 is $55,000). We give 1:1 credit for the first ten years of teaching and 1:2 for years over ten, with no maximum until Tier 30. Full benefits are available.

Expectations Include:

• MUST BE A PRACTICING CATHOLIC
• A bachelor's degree in Theology (Masters preferred)
• Teaching 5 of 7classes on the Block Schedule
• Working collaboratively with all members of the Theology Department and serving as a contributing member on course level teams
• Participationin all departmental and school-wide faculty formation
• Modeling for students and the entire school community the characteristics of an Ignatian educator.
• Ability to communicate clearly and consistently with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Creating an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Teaching 5 of 7 classes on the Block Schedule.
• Attending assemblies, prayer services, masses, service opportunities.
• Modeling Christian values and contributing to forming student values.
