Job summary

The candidate will teach survey-level Old/New Testament courses and upper-level courses in area of expertise, while engaging in research, service, and student mentorship.

The role requires ordination and good standing in LCMS, strong teaching skills, and a commitment to the university’s Christian mission.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. preferred; candidates with dissertation in process may be considered.
• Experience in teaching at university level and ability to mentor students.
• Minister of Religion or familiarity with LCMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Biblical studies and Theology across undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Engage in curriculum development, assessment, and student advising.
• Pursue scholarly research and participate in campus and church service.
• Contribute to departmental planning and committee work.
