Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Customer Service Representatives to handle gate screening and guest entry at a theme park. You will work outdoors at park entrances, screen guests with wands or detectors, check bags, verify tickets, and direct guest flow while delivering friendly, safe service.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, ability to follow procedures, and a positive demeanor. Starting pay is $18 per hour with part-time hours and paid training. Uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required; additional screening may be needed if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct venue entry, verify tickets, wristbands, and badges.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, wand or metal detector, and ID checks.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by watching for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies, procedures, and regulations for different events.
• Provide a positive experience as guests arrive at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and tips to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
