Job summary

Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company in California is seeking Electronic Technicians to help keep Disneyland Resort attractions running safely. You will work on rides and show systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot circuits, PLCs, lighting, and CCTV to minimize downtime and enhance Guest experiences.

This role reports to the Reliability Manager and requires the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays, including outdoor environments and weather.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions, blueprints, schematics and engineering documents.
• Knowledge of control and repair of circuits and motors.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work alone or in a team.
• Ability to evaluate job scope and order parts from vendors.
• Proficiency with hand tools, meters, gauges and test equipment; measure current/voltage/amperage.
• Basic math, color differentiation, computer literacy, and knowledge of NEC.
• Familiarity with CCTV, public address, lighting, projectors, and wireless networks.
• Reliable, able to work nights, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• You will join a unit focused on minimizing downtime and maximizing guest experience.
• Repair circuits and assemblies at Pirates of the Caribbean when called.
• Troubleshoot laser lighting systems for Main Street parades.
• Reset breakers on Haunted Mansion and perform preventive maintenance on Pixar Pier.
• Maintain electrical/electronic systems on It's a Small World and ensure Monorail PLC maintenance.
