This one-year supplemental contract involves designing, building props, coordinating stage design, and supervising student crews under teacher direction. The role emphasizes safety, material ordering, and collaboration with faculty to produce engaging performances.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, build and decorate props and special effects for theater productions
• Coordinate stage design and layout with the stage director
• Assist in ordering materials and supplies for productions
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in set design and layouts
• Work with students under teacher's direction
• Configure theater seating for productions
• Write and distribute promotional theater material for marketing
• Attend performances for newspapers, display, and staff use
• Perform other duties as assigned
