Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an SSA Operations Manager to oversee materiel management, warehouse operations and customer support in a theater SSA. You will integrate stock control, GCSS-Army execution, and end-to-end supply chain oversight to ensure accountability and readiness across the Area of Responsibility.

You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, ensure inventory accuracy, and enforce SSA SOPs with safety and compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Army supply/logistics, or HS diploma with 9+ years.
• Strong knowledge of SSA operations, stock control, and warehouse management.
• Proficiency in GCSS-Army warehouse and stock control functions.
• Experience inventories, causative research, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Army supply regulations and HAZMAT handling and documentation.
• Willingness to deploy to CENTCOM/AOR locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materiel management, warehouse ops, and customer support within theater SSA.
• Direct daily SSA operations, supervise staff, manage inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with units, maintenance, and HQ to ensure timely support.
• Ensure SSA SOPs, safety, quality assurance, and compliance with regulations.
• Analyze supply trends, manage transportation coordination, and retrograde activities.
