Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a SSA Stock Control Lead to oversee stock record management and accountability within a theater-level SSA in Southwest Asia. The role ensures accurate inventory control, reconciliation, cataloging, and materiel forecasting while coordinating with Receiving, Storage, and Issues sections.

The incumbent will direct stock control operations, supervise personnel, and maintain audit-ready documentation in line with Army regulations and theater

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Army supply/logistics experience.
• HS Diploma with 9+ years Army supply/logistics experience.
• GCSS-Army stock record management experience.
• Experience performing causative research, reconciliation, and audit preparation.
• Understanding of Army supply regulations, cataloging standards, and accountability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock record management, accounting, and due-in/due-out control in SSA.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Storage, and Issues Sections to ensure proper materiel flow.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation in accordance with Army regulations.
• Conduct cyclic inventories, discrepancy resolution, and MRO/STO processing.
• Prepare stock status reports and collaborate with higher HQ for SDRs and backorders.
