Induction and preceptorship

Job summary

An exciting opportunity at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to join the theatres team as a scrub practitioner. The post supports rotation within disciplines and a robust induction/preceptorship package is provided for new and experienced applicants.

All staff operate in a 24/7 service with on-call and night duties as required, maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety within the peri-operative environment.

Qualifications

• Registered RN with current NMC registration.
• ODP with HCPC registration is acceptable.
• Anaesthetic qualification is desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled practical care within the theatres scrub role.
• Rotate across disciplines with theatre team support.
• Participate in 24/7 service provision and on-call/ night rotations.
• Assist with equipment prep, infection control, and stock management.
• Input data into the Ormis system and support clinical audits.
