New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks Theatre Production Overhire to provide skilled, theatre-specific labor on an as-needed, hourly basis under the Director of Theatre Arts and Technology. These services are scheduled by the Director and most people specialize in one or two areas but may work across tasks as needed.

Pay is hourly, range $30.00–$40.00 per hour, with FLSA: Non-Exempt and time type: Part time.

Qualificações

• Two years of experience in technical theatre operations.

Responsabilidades

• Audio Engineering: setup, mic, mix and record people, bands, and other audio presentations.
• Theatrical Electrician: Hang, cable, focus lighting equipment, program and operate lighting control system.
• Follow Spot Operator: Operate follow spots for events according to the Stage manager.
• Stagehand: transport and setup furniture and other equipment for events; rearrange them during events.
• Scenic Carpenter: Construct stage scenery to specified requirements.
• Scenic Painter: Paint theatrical scenery to the Scenic Designer's specs.
• Rigger: Safely suspend equipment overhead and operate the fly system.
