Job summary

Regal is hiring a theatre maintenance person to perform minor repairs across the theatre, including the projection booth, and to maintain safety and comfort for guests and staff. The role includes training staff on basic maintenance tasks and ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

The position supports varying schedules (variable hour, part-time fixed or regular, or full-time hourly) with a focus on reliable attendance and teamwork within the theatre environment.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Certified as a cast member.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Ensure all auditorium seats are in good working order and repair broken ones promptly.
• Tile work and sheet rock repair tasks.
• Train theatre personnel on safe, minor maintenance tasks.
• Change light bulbs as needed.
• Complete the daily inspections report.
• Perform other minor repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with management to obtain qualified personnel for larger issues.
• Arming/disarming and general operation of the alarm system.
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures.
