Northeastern Illinois University is seeking a Production Coordinator within the Student Union, Events and Conference Services (SUECS) and Production and Technical Services (PTS) units in Chicago. You will coordinate production operations for the Sasha Gerritson Theatre and Recital Hall, and support NEIU events across campuses, including commencements and board meetings.

Responsibilities include live sound, projection, stage management, lighting, rigging, and AV recording.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (minimum from the Minimum Qualifications).
• One year (12 months) of education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization; Master’s may substitute for one year.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing AV equipment is required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work on ladders and catwalks as needed.

• Coordinate production operations in the Sasha Gerritson Theatre and Recital Hall for events.
• Advance event needs with NEIU faculty, staff, and external partners.
• Supervise student workers, freelancers, and contractors within budget constraints.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and venue documentation; update patch lists and plots.
