Job summary

Fordham University's Theatre and Visual Arts Department periodically hires part-time, non-tenure-track instructors to teach courses in Performance, Design and Production, Playwriting, and Directing. All classes are taught in person at either Lincoln Center or Rose Hill campuses, depending on departmental needs.

Applicants should hold a terminal degree in their field. The successful candidate will teach up to two undergraduate courses per semester and join a diverse, unionized adjunct faculty

Qualifications

• Terminal degree required in the applicant's field.
• Ability to teach up to two undergraduate courses per semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and upper-division courses in Performance, Design and Production, Playwriting, and Directing.
• In-person instruction at Lincoln Center Campus or Rose Hill Campus, as needed by the department.
• Contribute to a diverse, scholarly environment and participate in departmental activities.
