Qualifications

• Master’s or MFA in drama/theatre arts/performance; OR Bachelor’s or BA in drama/theatre arts/performance AND Master’s in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature or humanities; OR the equivalent. All degrees must be from an accredited institution completed by time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses listed in the posting: TA 300 Introduction to the Theatre; TA 302 History and Theory of the Theatre I; TA 420 Stagecraft; TA 422 Stage Lighting; TAP 310-313 Modern Technical Production.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, practical demonstrations, and assessments aligned with course outcomes.
• Contribute to program planning, student advising, and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.
