Server Assistant

Responsible for assisting servers with delivering food and cleaning tables. Creates and maintains a welcoming environment for guests by providing friendly service and ensuring the restaurant is clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure guests and team members have a spotless, clean, and safe environment.
2. Clear and reset tables quickly between guest seating.
3. Deliver food efficiently to assigned tables or sections.
4. Familiarize with table/section numbers and menu items.
5. Respond to guest requests and inform servers or management of any issues.
6. Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and polishing silverware.
7. Stock supplies for servers and other staff as needed.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server Assistant preferred or at least 6 months experience in food service or hospitality.
• Experience with point of sale systems is recommended.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to connect with guests through food and beverage service.
• Mastery of the menu and enthusiasm about offerings.
• Clear and professional communication with team members and management.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and various shifts.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
