Job description

Slate North at the Wilds Golf Club is seeking a leader to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in fostering a fun environment where team members are motivated, have clear expectations, and focus on guest satisfaction. Positive and influential interaction with all employees is essential. The candidate must be capable of leading and implementing change. We are a growing company with opportunities!

Required Talents:
  1. General knowledge of restaurant operations and the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Strong organizational skills for planning and facilitating functions/events
  4. Ability to give feedback and hold others accountable to create results
  5. Control labor costs and COGS; manage inventory levels monthly
  6. Understand and exceed guest needs and expectations
  7. Maintain restaurant standards in accordance with company and health regulations
  8. Manage and develop team through scheduling, training, and performance reviews
  9. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  10. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  11. Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  12. Manage changing priorities effectively
Preferred Experience:
  1. ServeSafe or equivalent certification preferred
  2. At least 3 years of restaurant experience, with 2 years in management
  3. Golf course restaurant experience is preferred but not required
Scheduling:
  • Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Two days off per week
  • 40-50 hour work weeks
