Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Supply and Capacity Senior Analyst in Westerville, OH to provide analytical support ensuring global manufacturing can meet customer demand. You will interpret SIOP/IBP forecasts, assess production constraints, and deliver data-driven insights to the Supply Capacity Leader and cross-functional teams.

Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Finance, you’ll optimize capacity for Vertiv’s critical products and contribute to business strategy and operational

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain analysis, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, modeling).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Preferred experience in critical power products, UPS systems, or related electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Preferred exposure to SIOP/IBP processes in a global manufacturing context.
  • Preferred familiarity with data visualization or planning tools (Power BI, Anaplan, Kinaxis).
  • Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing, line balancing, or constraint analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain capacity models, dashboards, and planning views showing current and projected utilization across Vertiv’s manufacturing plants.
  • Partner with IBP teams to evaluate customer demand against capacity, identifying timing feasibility and constraints.
  • Establish processes to reserve and track capacity for customers and strategic programs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment on assumptions, constraints, lead times, and production capabilities.
  • Enable real-time dissemination of updated capacity information to stakeholders, ensuring Sales and Operations operate from a single source of truth.
  • Drive continuous improvements in tools, processes, and methods to assess capacity and manage commitments.
  • Provide insights and scenarios as part of the monthly IBP cycle, including backlog impacts, new opportunities, and operations changes.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining clear communication and high decision quality.
