Job Summary

Performs general retail clerk duties.

Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail and customer service preferred
Essential Functions
  • Interact with Thrift Store customers and referral clients
  • Create and maintain store displays and shelves
  • Price and inventory merchandise and donations
  • Clean and maintain retail and production areas
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including yard and parking lot
  • Carry out special projects as assigned by management
  • Serve on the Emergency Disaster Services team as approved and directed by management
  • Respond to disaster exercises and actual disasters

Physical Demands

The role involves sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, crouching, crawling, standing, walking, manual dexterity, vision use, and lifting/carrying weights up to 50 pounds. Travel may be required.

Requires verbal and written communication with co-workers, clients, vendors, including phone and digital communication. Also involves training, instruction, reading, and working at various sites.
