The Preuss School at UC San Diego is a charter middle and high school dedicated to providing a rigorous college-prep education for low-income scholars who will become the first in their families to graduate from college. As a department within UC San Diego Academic Affairs, The Preuss School also serves as a model school to study and develop best practices in the preparation of underserved scholars for college admission.

Under direction of the Vice Principal, in the absence of the classroom teacher, provide instruction, encourage student progress, and manage the learning environment.
