Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an Independent Contractor for Project Lupin to help improve AI-powered speech recognition models. You will listen to real audio recordings, produce verbatim transcripts, and assist with segmentation and transcription accuracy.

This remote, flexible role pays $30 per audio hour. You must be Thai fluent with strong listening skills and the ability to timestamp, label speakers, and annotate non-speech events. Minimum 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Thai, including regional accents and informal speech.
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcripts, including stutters, repetitions and filler words.
• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is an advantage.
• Comfortable using browser-based tools and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer; mobile devices not supported.
• Reliable availability for minimum 10+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Listen to real audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts.
• Timestamp segments with less than 500ms deviation.
• Speaker labeling for conversations with 2 to 8 participants.
• Event annotation for non-speech elements (e.g., laughter, background noise).
